Love coming here with my family or when I’m working in town. One of the best spots in Selma! AC and her staff are amazing, food is delicious, and there are things for the kids to do while you dine.

Excellent, excellent, excellent food and service. Today's lunch was asian lettuce wraps, 2 different salads, chocolate stuff (a dreamy brownie like cake with plenty of whipped cream). I understand the menu changes and it is, whatever is being served that day is what is being served. The proprioter is a lovely woman. Her art is displayed and available for purchase. The chef prepared devine food. Fresh and beautiful. I can't say enough good things about it.
The meal was exquisite, the atmosphere warm, inviting, and wonderfully Bohemian. Art meets hospitality in a really good way. A visit to Selma would not be complete without lunching here, and I look forward to enjoying the charming AirBnB sometime soon. I live in Birmingham but grew up here. A guest, a friend in town visiting all the way from Seattle loved it, too.
Amazing historical building, marvelous lunch, talented artists, and the woman who cooks, wow!! What an incredible experience we had, thank you so much. Located in an old beautiful Woolworths building downtown, this place offers the BEST food we had during our 2 week trip in the south. Watch the hours of operation or call, and make your trip truly worthwhile by stopping here for a bite.
We stopped in for a piece of butterfinger pie and a Coke, had a fun talk with the proprietor. There were a lot of people enjoying the buffet. There's an Airbnb upstairs. Each suite is unique, large and inviting. All were spotlessly clean with beautiful art on display. Great gift shop with original art on one side of the dining room.
Very unique, charming and unpretentious yet fabulous restaurant, with delicious. Healthy food. The owner, AC, is amazing, she takes pride in making sure everything is perfect. She also has a wealth of information about Selma's history. So glad to have experienced this wonderful venue!
This eclectic, artistic space was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious not fried which was a treat for me. There was meat on the menu which I told AC that I don’t eat and she made humus and grilled vegetables for me. I can’t praise this experience enough. A must when visiting Selma.
AC has established such an incredible experience here at the 5&Dime! Our group was able to have rest, refreshment, and enjoy stories of Selma history while on a bus tour through the south. Abilene Christian University’s online doctoral cohort could not have been more warmly welcomed! Not only do I highly recommend this location, but AC and her staff were remarkable. Delicious bites that felt so communal!
